Creative Living Media

Award winners at the 11th annual Bell Awards

In 2006, for the first time, Creative Living Media (formerly Pride Publishing) entered the 11th annual ABSP Bell Awards. The Bell Awards recognise and reward outstanding specialist and publishing achievement. Through the recognition of excellence, the Bell Awards provide much needed identity for the enormous bank of talent and enthusiasm represented within the sector. Winning a Bell Award delivers a powerful platform for creating dynamic marketing programs for the promotion of the successful titles under the ABSP banner. The 2006 awards attracted a record 232 entries across 34 categories.
These awards reinforce the place that Creative Living Media (formerly Pride Publishing) has carved for itself in the tough, and over-populated field of craft in the Australian market. Creative Living Media is the youngest and smallest of the three specialist craft publishing companies, and these awards are testimony to level of excellence achieved in editorial depth, content, journalism, production, graphics, design, marketing, strategy and execution (as specified by the awards criteria).

For two of our craft magazines to be awarded finalists in the Best Consumer Magazine category was amazing. To be recognised as the best craft magazines in Australia was reassuring - we\\'ve been working hard to win this accolade. Congratulations are due to all who are involved directly with the production of these titles as well as the marvellous support team at Creative Living Media. And, of course, thanks to all our advertisers and readers too.
